On Saturday, Auntie Marna and Mama J took Eliot to the petting zoo to watch the running of the goats.  Eliot loved playing outdoors and watching the baby animals.

While we haven't enjoyed the same glorious spring weather as the rest of the country, we've tried to make the most of the rain and wind.  Thank goodness for waterproof coats and muddy buddies!

Nin (1922-2012)

The world lost a unique and vivacious spirit last night.  Though the right time had come to say goodbye, I will miss Nin more than I can say.  I feel truly blessed to have had her in my life.

Remembering Japan

A year ago, the fourth largest earthquake on record killed 19,057 Japanese.  It injured 26,992 more and displaced 17,676.  Let us spare a few moments to remember the victims and to share hope for Japan's bright and prosperous future.

Nana and Grandpa

Eliot wrapped up another fun visit with Nana and Grandpa today.  Highlights from the week included a visit to the library, feeding the ducks and even an outing to the symphony!
